Virtual assistant side income in the Philippines: refer websites to your clients

Updated 2026-10-22 · Commission is a share of net money actually received, after a 30-day hold. No income is promised.

As a virtual assistant you see your clients' businesses from the inside. You know when the website is broken, when the domain is about to expire, or when a client still runs everything from a Facebook page. The Tuncer Technologies partner program lets you turn that knowledge into a modest side income: refer the client to tuncertech.com with your own link, and if they pay, you receive a share of the net money received.

It is free to join, it fits around your VA hours, and payouts can go to your GCash or Maya.

What you can refer and what you receive

  • Hosting: up to 25% of net on each paid hosting payment for 12 months.
  • Website packages: up to 15% of net. Starter Online (₱8,900 / USD 229), Business Ready (₱15,900 / USD 449) and Business Pro (₱25,900 / USD 749).
  • Services: up to 10% of net on paid website and app project invoices.

Your clients may be in the Philippines, the USA, Australia or elsewhere. They see their own local price at checkout, and your share is calculated on the net money actually received.

Example only. If a package sale left a net of ₱5,000, up to 15% of that net would be up to ₱750 (or up to USD 15 on a USD 100 net). The numbers are made up to show the maths, not a forecast. Many partners earn nothing, and nothing is paid unless a real customer pays.

Why it fits VA work

You are already trusted. Clients ask their VA for recommendations all the time. A referral is just a well-informed suggestion.

It does not take your billable hours. You make the introduction; Tuncer Technologies handles the domain, hosting and website build.

You can send a payment link. If a client says "just send me something I can pay", create a payment link for the right package in your dashboard and send it. The sale is credited to you.

Your own small projects. If you manage a site for a client yourself, partners can buy at the partner price, 20% below the list price, and bill the client directly.

Be clear with your main clients

Before you mention a referral to an employer or agency client, check your contract. Some VA agreements limit side work or recommendations. When you do share your link, say plainly that you may earn a commission. On social media, add #ad. The disclosure guide has short examples in plain English.

Tiers and teams, in plain terms

  • Tiers: Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, based on the net you refer in a calendar month. Higher tiers add +3, +5, +8 or +10 points to that month's rates, with a hard cap of 25% of net per sale. Tiers reset monthly.
  • Teams: if other VAs join with your team link, a team share of 10%, 5% or 3% (levels one to three) is taken from the seller's own commission when they sell. You only receive team shares in a month when you made at least one real sale yourself. Customers never pay extra.

Learning while you go

Your account includes the Academy with 34 short lessons, a lobby for questions, scheduled events, a weekly planner, plus badges and a Hall of Fame for real results. The lessons cover how to spot a client who needs a website, how to bring it up politely, and how to follow up without being pushy.

Getting paid in the Philippines

In the payout step you can choose GCash or Maya (your 11-digit number and the exact account name), or PayPal or bank transfer. Transfer fees, where they apply, are deducted from the payout. Commission is created after the customer's payment arrives and is held for 30 days before approval, so refunds can be handled first.

Getting started

  1. Create your free account. You must be at least 18.
  2. Complete your profile: Philippines, mobile number, and who you usually work with.
  3. Add GCash, Maya, PayPal or bank details.
  4. Copy your link or QR code and a ready caption.
  5. Mention it when a client or contact actually needs a website.

If your clients are mostly US businesses, read referring small businesses in the USA. If you also freelance in design or writing, see the website referral program for freelancers. Students can read the page for students 18+.

FAQ

Can I join if I already work full time as a VA?

Yes, as long as your contract allows it. The program has no minimum hours, no quota and no fee. Many partners only refer a few people a year, and some earn nothing.

Do my clients have to be in the Philippines?

No. Clients anywhere can buy at tuncertech.com and see their local price. US sales are handled by Rundzee, LLC and Philippine sales by Poseidon Distribution OPC, both part of the same company group.

How do I receive my commission?

Choose GCash, Maya, PayPal or bank in your dashboard. After the 30-day hold, approved commission is paid by your chosen method, with any transfer fee deducted. The FAQ has the details.

Is this a job offer?

No. You join as an independent partner, not an employee. You receive a share of net only when someone you referred buys and pays. The Partner Terms and the income disclosure explain this in full.
